Pushing the Bulakenyos Onwards.

Virtual Colony Mission statement is :

“We at Virtual Colony recognize the Filipino talents available all over the globe. Our mission is to bridge the gap between Filipino talents and the global market by offering world-class talent and cost-effective regional offshoring to insurance brokers and other industries.”

As an offshoring outsourcing company that takes root in a regional area, Virtual Colony aims to be the bridge that brings their fellow Bulakenyos towards success. With this advocacy in mind, the company actively seeks out the barely tapped potential of their fellow Bulakenyos. Being previously one of the millions of employees working in Manila, the founders have experienced the exhausting commute to work every day. And simply renting an apartment or a room in Manila considerably takes a great chunk out of one’s paycheck. These are some reasons and the innate need to provide a better opportunity in their hometown proved to be the spark they need to bring their dream of owning their own company to fruition.

Founding the Virtual Colony with the goal of achieving its mission and vision to be a hub for talented and skilled Filipinos is not an easy feat. However, determination and perseverance go hand in hand, in order to achieve the goal. While the company is still young and in the early stages of establishing a name for themselves, they are keen on providing a top-quality offshore staff composed of Filipinos in the regional area of Bulacan. Gathering the said talents is the easy part since the province of Bulacan already has an abundant pool of professional and skilled people.

Bulakenyos are mainly farmers.

Virtual Colony’s mission to bridge the gap between Filipino talents and the global market starts in the regional area of Bulacan wherein the local government considers it to be the next economic growth area. Various infrastructural projects are well underway to pave a better way to the province, making the commute to and from Manila easier. A cyberpark in the city of Malolos is also being built to be the next IT and outsourcing centre. Bulacan is seen as the next business hub as the province continues to grow and is slowly easing their way into modernization. With the *introduction of e-jeepneys albeit only a small number is being used at the moment, more is expected to be added in the coming months. Aside from that a *proposed budget of the local government is already approved to fund a variety of projects to help Bulakenyos such as 2-story Information and Technology building near the Municipal hall, a mini hotel to help train Bachelor in Technical-Vocational Teacher Education. These are set to further guide the Bulakenyos to more opportunities. Opportunities that Virtual Colony is willing to provide.

The Colony, young as they may be, being the brainchild of 4 dynamic individuals with a thirst for success and the dream of becoming a company that brings out the best of the people of Bulacan, strives to achieve their mission and vision. With the distinct characteristic of true Bulakenyos that stems from blood of heroes, they are steadfast in bridging the gap and bringing their fellow men to success along with them.
